final prints
Environment, visual practiceThese are the final outcomes for my environment project. the theme for the final shoot was to link the clothing to the landscape the model was being photographed in. There is a contrast between the flowers/nature on the models clothing, the real life flowers/nature surrounding the model. This shoot plays on the idea of reality vs fantasy. A key element for me on this shoot was to have the models clothing baggy. I wanted the models clothing baggy because, as the wind blew it created movement within the models garments therefore getting the models clothing to interact with the outside environment. If I could change anything about this shoot I would have used more clothes, giving me more options and more links to the environment.
Hasselblad workshop
Environment, test shootsThese are the results from my Hasselblad workshop I took part in. We were asked to set up a studio, using lighting techniques and power-packs. Using a light meter I balanced the amount of light being outputted to the background and foreground of the photo set up. this was challenging because it was difficult to get the right balance between the two elements. I learnt how to connect the computer to the camera using the Focus program. I learnt a lot from this workshop and am looking forward to working with the Hasselblad again as it is such a diverse camera.
