final prints

Environment, visual practice

These are the final outcomes for my environment project. the theme for the final shoot was to link the clothing to the landscape the model was being photographed in. There is a contrast between the flowers/nature on the models clothing, the real life flowers/nature surrounding the model. This shoot plays on the idea of reality vs fantasy. A key element for me on this shoot was to have the models clothing baggy. I wanted the models clothing baggy because, as the wind blew it created movement within the models garments therefore getting the models clothing to interact with the outside environment. If I could change anything about this shoot I would have used more clothes, giving me more options and more links to the environment.

Bronica workshop

Environment, test shoots, visual practice

These are some of the outcomes from the Bronica workshop. I really enjoyed learning and working with the Bronica because, I don’t usually work with film and I found it interesting to learn about another aspect of photography. During my time spent with the Bronica I learnt a number of skills such as; how to load film, how to work with a light meter, how to develop and scan in the negatives. I would defiantly consider working with film again especially using the Bronica. I am going to have a go at using the Bronica in my finally shoot for this unit, however I am going to shoot on digital also just in case something goes wrong with the film.
